and Counter-Arguments
Argument: "There are SO MANY dystopian books. The all have the same boring plot line"
Counter-Argument: I have to agree, there are a lot of dystopian books. But each of the are unique there own way. The Giver is different than other books you might have read. In the Giver, You don't know who the bad people are until the very end of the book, and even then that is a surprise. In the Giver many people you think are good start becoming not so nice.
Argument: "There is no action"
Counter Argument: There is action, Just not the guns, killing kind of action. Most of the action is in the memories. The Pain, The Hunger, The Sadness.
Argument: "I can just see the movie"
Counter Argument: The movie received a bad rating when I looked it up.The book has much more detail. The movie has a lot of differences than the book.
